FS: S13 Veilside CII front valance

up for sale is a genuine version of the Veilside CII lip that has long since been out of production.

this is a picture of the actual lip:

although it is green in this picture i had to have soem flaws repaired and so it is now primered but in mint condition.

the price is $250 usd FIRM + shipping.

this lip was test fitted on the car today and it fits snuggly enough so that you could almost drive it around without fasetning it to the car with any hardware at all...lol

what about origin, D-blood, version select, VIS, and the countless other copy-cats out there...

the costs of you trying to get anywhere, especially across international borders, would far outweigh the costs of me making a couple copies of a discontinued piece.

my buddy already got into an arguement with some other guys on ZT about this.

i dont want to argue or anything so let it go.

shipping is likely to be a bit of a cunt, but the ladies at my local post office let me ship a similar item without taking dimensions and just using weight, not dimensional weight.

that should make the quote much more favourable. i'll check on it for you.

If veilside still made the lip, then yes, I could see a problem with this.. but since you cannot purchase this lip new anymore, I think Bing did everyone a favor!

its true, this lip does fit extremely well.

its strange though brian, there ARE two versions of this lip.

the one i have has points around the bottom where the lip comes aorund and meets the mouth of hte bumper. other guys i have seen with this lip were flush all along the bottom and so is the one that is pictured as the EII lip.

i have had other people refer to this one as the CII lip and that is also what the original owner down south referred to it as well.

maybe they modified the mold?

maybe this isnt a veilside lip and since i copied it and no one knows what kind of lip it is then no one can claim that i am stealing this design since it is different from the EII lip in subtle yet distinguishable ways.

further, the original version i have doesnt say veilside on it, but is has been painted several times.

hmmmm, i think i'm in the clear...

anyone want an original unknown-brand lip for S13 chuki bumper?
