I <3 hackers!!!!!

You know being on Zilvia for the short time that i have, i have grown to appreciate forums and what they can offer if u actually search. With that being said I recently joined 2 local forums(sfl240sx.com and floridadrifters.com) and now I can't access them. I know for sure that sfl240sx.com was hit by hackers and the site had to be moved but now I try accessing flloridadrifters.com and it says the site isn't found when i try to enter it...why do people have to mess w/a good thing. I have learned so much on zilvia(by searching!!) and was looking foward to learning and getting to meet some local 240 enthusiast but no some :mrmeph: w/no life had to hate on us

yeah, sucks ass that sfl240sx is down, it was back up for a little while but now its been out for like a week or something, i dont know what happened. Kyle goes on zilvia occasionally,i should probably ask whats up with the site. Maybe hell have it back online soon. anyways, if you want another local forum, try sfldrifters.com, decent sized group of local guys drifting on there.

Feel free to move this thread mods...I was just venting....it just pisses me off that some people have to mess w/things that are actually hepful to others...as a matter of fact i don't know what i would use my comp for if i didn't have these forums...ok maybe that's a stretch but I have to say that I really enjoy these forums and all the things that can be learned from them

Typically theres white hats and black hats these are hackers. The white ones are the good ones who instead of taking avantages of security weaknesses they let the owner know of it or hack for a hobby. Black ones hack anything they want and dont care so they just take avantage of weak security on stuff .

Like PHILP said you might get beat up by black people in this case hackers hacking your computer.

speaking of hackers, go to www.google.com and click preferences (right next to the text entry) and you can change the language to hacker. just discovered that yesterday, there's also elmer fudd, pig latin, and a couple other funny ones

G_Fish AFAIK black hat anything = cracker, see there's these words called synonyms.... btw how do you say "tomato"? :keke: I'm not arguing, this is how I learned things 15 years ago or so, maybe there's new school terms, whatever, the mentalities of crackers hasn't changed any since the 70s. what systems do u know? i'm curious if people learning other OS' have a varied terminology? I grew up on Sparc machines running unix/solaris/AIX/etc, later wintel boxes and other unsecure systems (early versions of redhat for example).
