Anyone know where I can get my ecu retuned locally in socal? More specifically in LA county. Is there anywhere that can do it for cheep, all I really need is to have it tuned for the z32 maf. Or, would it not be worth it to just do this for the maf? Reason is the SR I just installed came with the z32 but they sent me an ecu that wasn't tuned for it. So I can either buy a stock maf, rewire the maf plug and be done with it...or re-tune my ecu just to get it running with the z32 maf. I really don't want to spend money to get it back to stock if I already have the larger maf. But, I also don't have money right now to spend on a fully re-tuned ecu. What do you guys think.

Who tuned your ECU previously? They should be able to do a reflash for like $100-200.
What kind of engine management you have?
Tuning costs money... if you want to save money, just put back on a stock SR MAF.

It's the stock ecu. Not tuned. I don't have the stock maf. I purchased the SR from someone that already had the z32 maf. He sent me that with a greddy filter as well and the harness that was already wired for the z32. Except the ecu he sent was stock with no tuning for the z32. So, if I can re-tune the stock ecu for the larger maf for cheap, I'd rather go that route than having to purchase a stock maf, wire the harness back to stock, and probably have to buy some filter to fit the stock maf as well. That's why I'm saying I don't want to spend money (stock maf, filter, rewire harness) just to have the stock setup.

You said "retuned" as if your ECU was tuned before. If you are getting a ROM tune for the first time, it'll run you about $500-$600. If you don't have that kind of money, just get an SAFC2 for $200.

You can rock a SOHC KA maf. I have one for sale for cheap if you can't find one.
