View Full Version : Sway Bars and Power Brace done
So for those that remember me looking for endlinks, you can use Energy Suspension for the back but unfortunetly if you need or want endlinks for the front SPL is gonna be the best bet, the stock style. That said and done with I got my Tanabe Sway bars and Power Brace on. Then decided to see what I can get so I take a turn and pull an .89G off of the G-Tech great so I try a faster turn and... I understeer and The Curb Monster grabed the car, bites every tire and then decided he had to take a nip at my new rear sway bar. Well when the Monster bit the tires he must of shock the passenger tire and thoght the TC rod and the control arm on the passenger side would make for an excellent side dish. SO I tried to drive away from the monster and the tire decided to fold up under the car so the passenger side fender is FUBARED as well. So I got alot of my suspension completed and then have to start over again!

Wow damn chuy that sucks. You need stock rear toe arms or upper control arms by any chance? I still have my old ones from the S14 lying around? If you broke those and need them to get your car on your feet, they are yours.
In other news, I just got an S13...
Hey Ill take them, I found the control arm and I started to fix the sway bars but Ill have to catch you or figure something out. Im trying to get info about a new old track that I found and set something up for CADC. Dont know anything yet though.

Sucks to hear that. Next time find a big parking lot and put some cones up. Understeer is always a bitch though.

Man that sucks, I've had my fair serving of curbs myself, and thats exactly why I am going to stock up on some spair suspension arms and links. Never know when you're going to need them.
The G-Tech might Lie and it might not but I get a ballpark to see what needs to happen. Ill get the car back up just to tear it up again. My wife doesnt see it this way, the S-14 was bought for one purpose and that is to go racing weather or not it makes it back or not is completly diffrent story I got one because I liked the lines wanted a rear wheel drive. Besides its cheaper then trying to build a car when your trying to pay it off as well. Thanks guys.
