broken megan racing turbo outlet pipe

here's a pic of my megan outlet pipe that broke after about a month of daily driving with some occasional "spirited driving". next to it is the greddy outlet pipe that replaced it. it broke right after the welds and might be because of the grinding down they do to smooth out the welds on already thin metal.

Actually breaking right near the weld usually means a poor welding job, too hot, weakened the metal.
Wonder how their manifolds are gonna hold up... deja vu

I apologize for that....When you produce several hundred at a time, you are going to run into a few bad apples...

If you could just send it back to Megan Racing, and I feel confident they will replace it...

I have never, ever, had to replace one of these...This would be the first...

hmm....now im definitely getting a flex-pipe welded onto my downpipe for sure. This way, the manifold and the elbow wont take the brunt of the engine torquing sideways.
