Well not everyone can afford a dvd player let alone wants one because there not fully detachable. Well i got myself a psp the other day and i was like wait, I have a psp, pioneer radio with aux in. perfect! just gotta find a place to put it. Well this is what i came up with b4 work today. did it in about 30mins with a metal bracket mounted to the center vents at about a 75deg angle. alsmot upright but theres still some finishing touches

your probably wondering how does it stay? well i bought some crazy velcro and it works great. went for a quick drifitng session on my lunch today at work and it didnt move at all

Correct, you need a UMD for corporate movies. However, you can also rip or download your favorite movie(s) and, provided you have a large enough Pro Duo memory stick, upload them to the PSP. That would be the much more "free" solution.

^It's pretty clear from his post that he has no desire for a screen in his car that is not detachable. I think he's found an ingenious way to use something he already has. Plus, who cares if it's "ghetto". It's not like he's going to keep it in the car 24/7. I'm guessing that's not really his intention.

I did something simialr to that a while back I had aux in on the back of my headunit so I drilled a small hole and flush mounted a small headphone jack in one of my "blank" dash buttons on my climate control, then would plug in my mp3 player or Pocket pc to play back ripped DVDs and music.

ill post some day pics.. and its not gehtto, i mean ive gone over different ways to put a screen in my car.
Lilliput touch screen, with a mini atx computer. (car pc). Wasnt cost effective
Avic-n1, alpine indash, kenwood double din flush mount, or the eclipse avn double din flush mount. I work at bestbuy so i get em for 800 bucks. 800 bucks is alot for bestbuy salary.
i could get a jvc deck that plays am/fm/cd/dvd single din and throw it in the glovebox and put a screen in the double din spot. My co worker did it at work looks pretty good. But i mean i already had a psp so why not.
ill take some pics of it today in the day b4 i go to work at post em tonight. its not like i want to spend 500+ on a new stero and screen or 800 on an indash, when i already have a good radio and a psp that i use everyday. that extra $ can go towards car parts.

Very cool idea.
Can't wait to see those Daytime pics...
I'd like to eventually have a dedicated screen in my S14, but I'd still like to have a PSP mount in addition. Who knows what software will come out for that thing..... The GBA SP has some stuff that allows it to be used as a boost gauge, or even an OBD II diagnostic. Imagine if you could mount your PSP and use it as...say...an AVC-R or something?

you talking about the duct work/vent at the front?
thats to get a direct channel to the air intake or whatever needs be.

when ur driving yes it does make a difference. faster response, revs a bit faster. obviously at low speeds its not going to make a diff but after u get to about 25 it makes a diff

Interesting.....I take it you don't have to worry about sand, salt and snow going into that duct work. Anyways, what's with the plush toys? inside joke?
