Hahah, nice one dude, that's the funniest thing I've seen on zilvia in a while. Seeing as everyone has their own favorite hybridization of Nissan model names.. Sil-eighty, Sil-80, One-via, Sil-40, One-line, skyvia, sky-40. All when the car is still a 240sx..
but I digress, I've seen the orange S13 truck. It's wacky-looking, but still kinda cool. I say, if you have the means, go for it.

:tweak: whoever did that should be shot. its almost as if a redneck inherited an s13 and didnt know what to do with it..... :hammer: :loco:

It's a very original idea though, you have to give them that. I'd never consider it doing to my own car but hey it's different and it's not exactly the worst thing you could do to the car...

I like the "truck" style usually but the chrome roll bar is kinda Blah in my opinion, but I guess growing up in wisconsin where there are monster hick trucks with roll bars with KC lights mounted gets kind of old and disgusting after a while haha.

I seen a video of a car that had that mod done. Guy was carrying his back bumper in it ... that's really the whole purpose. To be able to pick up your parts and keep going instead of some racers I have seen drive back off the course holding their bumper outside the window with one hand and operating the car with the other ...

It was there, so I have to point it out.
On topic, I think the truck is great looking. Everything is practical about it. Haul shit, lighten the hatchback by 100-200 pounds, and take some of the weight from the top, lowering the center of gravity. Plus is just looks crazy!
Next mod, put some huge exhaust stacks through the truck bed! Now thats hick.

S13 hardbody... kinda. i dont car for it really but its something different to look at. specially sideways
one of our Ontario boys already did this to an S13 with a silvia front end, high compression NA KA, RHd conversion, flat black and now trucked out...
El Zilvino is her name, not raod worthy yet.

haha el zilvino. it would be nice to have the truck conversion with the fuel cell mounted in place of te spare tire area. not too mention the huge amounts of extra tires and parts that could be lugged around having the extra space. Add to te fact that having a reason to tell people no room in the back seat.

I for one like the truck conversion alot, much easier to bring your race tires to events plus you dont have to throw shit in the passanger seat when your back gets full... cause it wont.
BTW: SIDEVIEWCIVIC, it's : feel the rythym. feel the RHYME. get on up. it's bobsled time. COOL RUNNINGS!!!

 I'm pretty sure that's not the purpose. Those trucks were/are built simply to be different and to gain exposure and publicity for the sponsor. Any other reason for them is purely bonus and gimmick.
Personally I like them and don't understand why people get so passionate about hating them. It's different and that's the whole purpose. Nobody said it was the nicest S13, just that it's cool because it's different.
