it's quite the deal already, considering it's usually $480 from the lower priced nissan dealerships. retail's $600, nice price especially if it's shipped.

Good price! I recently paid $460 shipped, but I was able to use a credit card, so it's about the same. The tail lights are worth it. They will hold their value if you ever choose to sell them!

sometimes yes sometimes no. In other words this particular group could happen now and might not happen again for another 6 months or more. Its been nearly 5 months since the last one.

I would really really really love to get these lights. I know this is a good deal but I dont know if I can spend 450 on lights when I could buy other things that I want ot need.
If you could have waited a few months I would buy some.

wiring is pretty straight forward you need to wire up your usdm plugs to the taillights wires and remove the JDM plugs which are different. my bad on leaving out the comma in the sentence . I have corrected it . "Usual drill" is a figure of speech meaning same rountine or same setup.

btw I took my lights out today and was wondering do I need to replace the lock, i mean it would be good to as I cant even get it open with my key because it is Fd up, but i dont care it would be too much trouble if I didnt have to change the lock out, why is it that a lock is included?

because the actual depth of the lock cylinder on the Kouki tails is different and your stock lock cylinder would not work.

really not sure on that one, they are generally more expensive in individual pieces than as whole kit. For instance my price for one taillight shipped is around $175. I have never researched other peoples individual piece prices. If mine is better cool. I really focus on complete kits if someone asks for a piece I can get it.

Not in my case. I paid on April 1st and I have yet to get a tracking number or confformation of any sort that it's been shipped.
All I've gotten is "it went out today as far as I know" on 4/8/05 and was suppose to get a tracking number today or tomorrow morning.
I'm starting to get a little uneasy to say the least. :bash:

well this is a good seller I had a problem with a product from him before and he went the extra mile for me to fix the situation unlike many sellers do these days, have faith he is a reputable man and is very busy,

Juan you need to chill, you paypal'ed on friday april 1st. thats a weekend.
that means its been 7 business days since you payed and I just sent you your tracking number. Fact is my guy was backlogged with a lot of orders and I was going with what he was telling me.
Even though this is a open group buy you guys still have to remember its a group buy . That means its not something I am stocking. It means I collect the cash turn it over to my contacts and they ship. Plain and simple like any other group buy.
so have a little courtesy in the patience department. Thats all.

count me in, ill paypal the money with my addy. :coolugh:
whats your paypal address?
Alright, I do apology if I flew a bit off the handle. But like I said in my PM to you I've been burned by too many 240SX vendors and I don't like the trend.
I also misundertood your phrasing of "your order will get processed and product shipped." I took it as you had the item in stock and you would ship out when you got payment. But I guess the "processing" is a little lengthy.
Again, I apologize.
Just posting a follow up, I have recieved the lights. Thanks again to Dave. Again I fully apologize for over reacting earlier.

Ok I have decided to end this group buy. Why ? because some the recent purchasers, whose orders are in shipment, did not seem to appreciate, or understand the fact that if something goes wrong at the warehouse, and part of the product becomes not available, then it gets delayed.
Fact is I do not ship this stuff it is shipped by the supplier. They give me tracking numbers and I relay them. No one has ever not received there package on these group buys , yet some of you just don't seem to understand this or take the time to consider it.
For that reason the forum has lost the chance to get Kouki tails at these prices anymore .

I can't imagine how you manage a business with your shitty customer service.
First, failure to effectively communicate with your customer is your fault-- not his. Second, if you had any sense of professionalism, you would have ignored my post-- instead, you chose to act like a little child having a playground spat. Third, why the hell are you pestering me? Did I say you were committing fraud? I was giving advice to one of your unhappy customers who can rightfully report you to paypal for non-delivery in a timely manner.
listen guy I am not pestering you. Its you that are pestering my thread. Second off you do not know the whole story yet you chose to comment . I have effectively communicated with every last person . If they chose to follow their emotion and not listen to what I have said to them in private its not because I do not know how to handle a business or customer service. You are way out of line here and getting further .
Your statement looks like your saying I am commiting fraud . if you can 't see that you need to learn reading comprehension.
Also the fact of the matter is like I stated in private to the customer the product went on back order due to running out of inventory. I have done nothing wrong. YOu also fail to realize this a group buy if you read you would understand . I am not the seller, I am handling the deal with the seller for your benifit of a better deal. But that seems to be lost on you .

even though i havent gotten my lights yet, i have to stand up for drift freaq. there was a situation with his distributor where there were only limited sets of lights (or should i say backordered). i was aware of this, but still expected the lights to come alot sooner than i planned, so that is why the shipping has been so late. me and drift freaq have already settled the problem a long time ago, and im positive he wont rip me off due to his 100% positive feedback (except for some late shipping incedents). im sorry i was the reason why you wanted to end your group buy, but i know 99% of people includng you would probably act in the same way after waiting for almost a month for their tail lights.
