usually turbo applications are for liter bikes. haybusas and zx12rs. know of a couple 600-750cc turbos, but its going to take a shit load of work

the only turbo apps on bikes i've seen is for liter plus bikes...

friend of mine has a super-charged hayabusa...talk about a death machine...it runs something insane at the track... (just dont remember what it was)

You can buy complete kits for turbo charging motocycles...this is old news. The bike ends up being carbuerated I believe. Gat a buddie that bored out his 89 GSXR to 1100 and was going to do a turbo kit on it. Heres a link to show you guys who dont know what Google is...

can u explain why i am so insane to turbo my 750. As far as the ltr bike thing, u are right, there are kits, but i am not going to spend 5-6 grand on a turbo kit that doesnt even come with a intercooler.

it isn't the turboi thing. take that viper motor bike the tomahawk. anybody that rides that is nuts. with a theoretical top speed of over 300mph (NOT KPH) i dont wanna be strapped on top goin down the highway. now, a conventional bike is far less stable... things that make ya go buh.

A motorcycles stability isnt what makes you go buh. Its the old cunt driving the Cadillac or the idiot who just doesnt know how to drive; That is if you have enough sense to ride the motorcycle properly.
Just spend 5-6 grand on a turbo kit, and go completly custom. It will probably come out nicer in the end, after that whole trial and error part though =P.

p.s. and the myspace pic of losers makes it self shown. Whats more sad, the picture or that I know where its from? UGGGGGG

Check out my friend Dave at turbodave.com , he has turbo'ed everything know to man, hence the name turbodave. From banshee's to carb'ed motor bikes, he holds the key.

there are a few turbo bikes around here. Mostly Hyabusa's pushing 330+ at the wheels...Its disgusting.
there is also a guy in the MW with a 750hp turbo busa. Ill tal to them to see if they know exactly what youll need.

a guy around here named Dave Morril had a chop called cm performance and had a dyno just for bikes. hiw thing was custom turbos for 600 f3's. he owns www.f1dyno.com now . noit sure if he is totally out of it seeing as the new dyno is an awd car dyno and he not there too often. check out the f1 website and email him and ask him about it. he's a really smart guy, there's another dave that works there make sure you mention cm performance. he could do it.

all i really need to know is how much boost can i run safely without a intercooler versus with intercooler, and about mapping, i have power commander already that is tunable so just need to know the safetly limits.

Allright, the thing is all of those questions are completly different for a motorcycle engine.

I understand that wootwoot, but i am not all up on turbo engines and i know some ppl here are really good with turbos, so i figured i would ask around about it, i mean hell the busa is running 12.3:1 compression and they are running 10psi no intercooler, but i am afraid to run numbers like that on my bike. I am looking elsewhere but keep getting the same answer that bikes are so much different then cars.

The thing is motorcycle engines, being so much smaller and flowing air at such a different rpm band and rate, are not nearly as prone to detonation compared to say an sr20. I would intercooler my turbo set up on a bike simply for the added power. But Zilvia is about the worst place to get information reguarding turbo and motorcycle. Go play on honda-tech in their forced induction section perhaps
