well... i just got my new 300 4 days ago. it worked fine, but on the second day, my friend was puttin my sound system in there and by accident touched the battery terminals backwards which caused a big spark and a little bit of smoke (dont know from where)
he finished the install and the car ran fine that nite, i dropped of one of my friends and came home.
the next day after school around 3:30 i tried to start it for the first time that day, and it wouldnt start.
my friend showed up and we jumpstarted it put it only ran for 7 seconds and then just died. did it a couple of times again and did the same thing. we though it was the alternator since it was makin a grindin noise, we changed it, but still doesnt want to run. it runs fine for the first couple of second and then it starts dieing. we think it is the Ignition Control Module, but nobody here can test it so we dont know if its bad, i went ahead and ordered a new one ($150) and comes in on friday... any ideas why its doin this?
