Hello,

I'm VERY new to the Nissan scene after owning several VW and Honda products.

I recently acquired a base RMS13 with a blown head. While the car is out of commission, I thought it might be a good idea to replace the terrible beige / tan interior with black.

After searching for a while, I can't seem to find anyone that has swapped interiors from S14 to S13.

Maybe I'm not searching correctly, but I wanted to put up a post to see if this has been done or if it's even possible to do with minimal effort.

If not, I'll just try to find a wrecked RMS13.

Thank you.

it will take more than minimal effort to do that swap.

p.s. you probably have an MS13

one easy way to fix the beige/tan interior is to spray paint it black.

sure thats a quick fix, the only thing is it will end up flaking off and then it ends up looking worse then it did when you first started. so your just better off finding another s13 interior and swap in the black interior!

both of those interior shots both look like they were black interior. Maybe you could leave an explanation of the difference in both pics cause i sure didnt see the differences.

The top pic shows blue interior. You must be color blind or your monitor isn't adjusted right.

your video card sucks cause one is blue and one is black. its pretty noticible

Definitely noticeable color difference and s14/s13 are sized differently. s15 fits and have fun with that

I remember a while ago, I saw a write up somewhere where someone put in S14 door panels and a dash into an S13 hatch. Have no idea where I saw it, and haven't been able to find since:duh: , so don't ask. But, it has been done. :2f2f:

s15 swaps to s13 way more readily than S14

I have swaped my tan interior for black and added s14 seats, but I'll have to post picks later when I get home.

yes, the falken hanabi does come in 17X9 +20. I would probably stick with another s13 interior swap, just because its probably easier, but if you want to be different, s14 interior would probably be pretty cool.

Simple, find wrecked black interior S13. Take everything but the seats. Find S14 seats, front and rear (search on how to fit the rears properly or ghetto rig them).

I wish I could find the posts that detail the swaps, but I'll keep searching.

Thank you for the suggestions!

Thanks for the tip.

I found the thread (http://www.240sxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53028) and he did a 'test fit' just to prove it worked and then took it out. Some things didn't line up, but it's a really close call. From the limited pics, I would have to say a full swap (dash, connectors, cluster, etc...) could be done in a day...
