I need some help with my hood fitment. It seems to sit too low near the hinges and too high near the latch. Heres a link to pics of the problem: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/672969/3 .
I ve dropped the latch down as far as i could and put spacers on the hinges to bring the back up but front inner section is still to high. Is the hood defective or am i just missing something?

try adjusting the headlights and bumper. angle the headlights to align with the hood. it looks like the outside of the headlights fit nicely against the hood, but try spacers or washers to make the inside edges rise up. dunno if that helps, but its worth a shot.

aside from the crappy fenders, what kind of headlight brackets are you running? That looks like what most of the problem is. They need more support, its almost like the front bumper is pulling it down

My bumper and headlights sagged and had the same problem, but then I made some beefy brakets for the headlight and bumper assembly, and if fits snug now. here are pics

Pics of the brackets I made from Home Depot Racing, behind the IC , you can see the old cheesy brackets I had on before. Headlights were all bouncy and shit on bumps.

I know fenders dont fit to great(dam inner circle). Thanks for the help guys. The headlights are bolted to the radiator support on the top near the fenders and the insides are bolted to the brackets that run up and down the middle of the support, where the old headlights mounted. The little clip on the back of the S15 headlights slid right into the slit on these middle brackets. Should I try and move the inner portion of the headlight up to meet with the bumper? Once thanks for all your guys help.

this is useless for me to post this with no pics, but i don't have any sag either... i made support brackets supplied by Lowes. I have 2 headlight support brackets per headlight, besides the rad. panel bracket that i made to connect both headlights. Then i have 5 brackets per side on the bumper. Reguardless, my shit is tight. ;) All still clears my I/C and pipping too. BobbyBoy, you have the sexiest car on zilvia. I was going to rip off your paint, but i'ma still with the factory starfire blue pearl, if that is the right color(dark blue)

Yes try to lift the headlight and bumper up, because you said you can't make the hood come down any more. To eliminate the gap you will need to attach the headlights to a point higher up on the vertical radiator supports. Then since the bumper mounts to a point on the inside of the headlight, being that the headlights sit higher, so will the bumper, making it more flush. Sizzoo and I have experince with S13s so it may be slightly different with an S14 however.

it should be pretty obvious if the hood can't come down anymore and the headlights and bumper are sagging toward the middle that the middle section should be lifted in some manner to fix this problem.
and now for much more importnat matters:
bobby- what the hell kinda rims are those and what are the specs? they are the pimpest shiznit since shiznits been pimped.

a quick look at his sig will answer your question. "Enkei NT03+M 18x8.5, 18x9.5 275s out back"
