im looking into getting an aeromotie FPR and im not sure which model to get. here are the 2 that i think i would need and need to decide between...

1. http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=aeromotive+fuel+pressure+regulator&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&searchinresults=false&N=0&target=egnsearch.asp this one has 2 inlets and i guess one out. i dont think i need 2 inlets so im not sure if this is the one i need. it says it is a return type regulator. does this mean that the fuel goes back into the tank? because i need this.

2. http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=aeromotive+fuel+pressure+regulator&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&searchinresults=false&N=0&target=egnsearch.asp this one is the "compact" one. claimed to support 1000 hp. has one inlet and i guess one outlet. this one says it isnt a return type.

i just need to know which one to get so i can get my fuel system together. incase its needed im going to be running a top feed rail and 72lb injectors and an enthalpy tuned ecu.

thats alot of fuel ur gonna be running planning on a 500hp+ car? im doing the same thing u are.. im probably going to have to purchase the AEI-13101... thats more then enough, the other side of the fuel rail is your return line i believe... why would u need 2 inlets unless u plan on running alcohol or some other shit... hope that helps

you want a single inlet single outlet unit with a 30-70 psi pressure range and no return

yeah i figured that i needed single in and out, but i wasnt sure what was meant by the return. i gues im going to go with the compact series. thanks for the help.

youll be alright just dont get 2 inlets unless u plan on running alcohol injected also...... make sure u have the right fittings... to go with ur fuel rail

no i dont really plan to run alhohol injection or anything like that. im going to just use rubber hose, and get barbed fittings for now. i dont want to plop down the money for all the AN fittings and stainles line at this time. ill upgrade to that later on.

i would go with AN if you need to use the black aeroquip line or the earls econo line and jegs or some other inexpensive fittings you are best to go AN throughout especially since i doubt you could find fittings that go from -10 to barb anyways
