i was wondering what some of you with t28's in your s13 have done for hotpipes/intake hardpipe? I have a good idea of what i want to do but am having a hard time finding polished stainless tubing and some good couplers..if you could post up some pics/good places to find the parts to do it...thanks ahead of time
I have checked on just getting custom mandrel bent hotpipe, but no one seems to know anyone with a mandrel bender or even where i can get some polished pipe.

On my S13 with S14 T28 I cut the outlet nozzle and clocked it back to fit the stock S13 hotpipes, and then used a hotpipe from heavy throttle. It was like 20$ to have it welded, just go to any shop that can weld aluminum in your area.
On my S14 I had a hotpipe custom made, since I used an S13 R-SPL (there wasn't a single S14 RSPL in NA and i was in a RUSH), the cold pipe at the intake manifold had to be modified, and instead of using the S14 hotpipe design and modding the cooler I just had custom 2" stainless follow the S13 SR hotpipe design, personally I like it more anyways.

polished stainless tubing: if u are a master TIG welder, look in most valve/pipe suppliers for "sanitary" pipe. sizes from 1"-4". bitch to weld though, its thin as can be.
if u want a little thicker, most ehaust shops will sell u non polished stainless pipe, its a little heavier, but 100x easier to weld. polish it ur self with a buff wheel and rouge stick^^.
or, go with alluminum, spearco has a lot of intercooler system raw materials, including couplers and reducing couplers. people are really nice and helpful too.
personally im running stainless exhaust tubing painted black. i like the flat black piping, kinda stealthy.
