Project Silvia is selling some tnesion rods with free shipping.
$150 shipped.

Although, most of their stuff is expensive as fuck, i thought this wasn't too bad of a price.

problem is, i've never heard of this company, and a google search yields no information about the company that makes these.

I'm not even buying tension rods this month (next month), but i was very curious as to how many people have tried out this part.

If none of you have heard of these or have any feedback, I will personally make another thread when I buy and install these for your protection.

They might turn out to be a good buy.

They're typical JDM tension rods, they just don't have a big name behind them like Tanabe, Section, or Cusco. PS can buy them for cheaper because of that.
Get them, you won't be disappointed.

I'm running them...bought them from Courtesy Nissan for $150 as well...had them for ~4 months, no complaints as of yet. Seem VERY stout.

They were a lot more from them a few months back. They are good. I have the old versions from them. I have had them off for my powerbrace install and after 1yr of use they are still good as new after spraying them clean with WD40. Even without boots on the joints they have no damage or play. I think the new coating will help with the minor surface rust from ajusting.

Had them in my car since they came out. Both sides busted at the bushings about a year later. This is daily driving too. No track time or anything. They gladly replaced them though. I must have gotten a rotten set. Pretty nice other than that.

How do these compare to the SPL tension rods which are only $10 more (shipped)?

i guess I will go ahead and order these in a month.
Along with Tein Tie rods+ends and an alignment.

(still don't feel like getting coilovers or spring/shock combo at the moment.)

If your front shocks are blown these will let you know it. I thought it was the harshness of the joint till I got coilovers and it calmed down.

I have them also along with a nismo power brace. they are very stout and havent given me any problems what so ever. Id deff. recomend them

only the first batch of tension rods robert got in had problems with the balljoint area, he'll replace them if anything goes wrong. There shouldnt be a problem with any other sets though

Okay, here's the run down...

SPL I use to have the SPL tension rods when Kuah first got them in...they were MONEY!
handled like a champ! and the steering was SUPER responsive! loved em!

Secchi I got those but when they came in, i gave them brand new to my friend for being that...a stand up good friend. they looked pretty beefey and could pack a mean wallop to the ole dome. never installed them though

I personally will get the SPL's again. (ohh yeah the reason i got rid of them in the first place was cause i sold my old car)
