will a 91-94 bumper fit on a 89-90 s13?

hey i searched for this and never got a staightforward answer. Everyone seems to be arguing "it fits" , "you need to swap fenders" blah blah... so who has actually DONE it.. or KNOWS for sure that its a direct swap... I have a 1989 240sx and I found a 1993 bumper, and I want to know if its a direct swap. I read up on how i need some side pieces of some sort... does anyone know what these pieces are and what they look like? Anyway i want to keep my fenders because theyre flawless and i id rather modify the bumper to fit than switch fenders. any help will be greatly appreciated... i need the info soon because i'll be picking up the bumper in a day or so.

yes it does bolt up. there are two more pieces and they each attach to the bumper on the sides. they cover the lower front portion of the fenders to keep the flow of the bumper because the 91-94 is a tad wider than the 89-90.

yes they bolt on...you dont really need the fender valences, it'll just look like ass if you dont have em there.

No, the 89-90 bumper goes all the way back and does not need the valences, the 91-94s do NOT come with the valences, but they are suggested, if only for aesthetics

the 89-90 bumper goes all the way back and does not need the valences

thes 89-90 bumper does not go all the way back. it stops at the front of the fender just like the 91-94. it's just narrower and shaped so it meets up with the shape of the fenders without the side piece.

I have read the post and I see the pics, I am needing a new drivers side fender for my 90 hatch but the guy that has a 91-94 fender for sale said it wont work on my 90? Can someone help me with this? Someone wrecked into my left fender while I was at a bar! :madfawk:

I just searched and the entire thread I found has mixed comments, I want to keep my pignose. I have had a 91 240 and I like the pignose ALOT better, my silver 240 with a black lip is HAWT! But to what I asked, im wanting to find a cheap fender, so I guess i will be looking for a 89-90 since i was a direct bolt on.

But all I have is basic liability and I didnt file a police report? And wouldnt that make my insurance go up when I can just replace it with a $20 fender and get it painted? Luckily though it already had a small dent in it that i couldnt get out so this just made it worse.
