Does anyone have these yet? Or are you planning to get these? I was planning on getting HEs but after I saw these new super drifts, I think that I'll get them cuz they sound like they are pretty similar to the HEs but lower it a little more, and they are compatible with the edfc. If you have more info on these coilovers post it up. Otherwise I guess I'll be the test dummy.
Oh, this is on S14, but S13 info on them would help also.

Springrates are stiffer, like 10k/8k. I wonder if they inverted them or not?
Hopefully the top bolt doesn't come loose and dampening doesn't change by itself like the HEs.

i have the first Tein drift coilovers and for daily driving applications they suck , you feel every bump and hole. The brightside is that on the track you have great handling and stiffness

well, if people bitched about the HEs and these have higher spring rates by a 2kg front and back. keep in mind that tein is very bad with ride comfort considering theyre mediocre spring rates. what do you expect?

You were going to get Tanabe DD and decided to settle for the Teins with EDFC? You will regret that, guaranteed. You should have just waited for the DD.

nice! once I pick a set up myself I will be able to drift...
Does anyone else think that this new product is a complete waste of time???
Twin tube, basically a HE with higher spring rates and EDFC compatibility that costs more...(which I think is a waste, I'd rather save $300 and get out of the car)... but I don't blame Tein, they're just trying to use all the hype to make a few more bucks.

yall just pissed cuz you cant buy them (not saying price is everything) i did say that i got the edfc for FREE. :mrmeph: people buy thse type of suspension b/c thats the kind of performance they want.

the guy asked a question, I gave it my honest answer.
What type of performance do people want? It is only a dressed up HE, that costs more, and is hyped more. Do some more research and find for alittle more money find great products that are herallded in their performance.
The only advantages are the higher spring rates, and I'd even arguethat's not much of an advantage at all for most people that uses these dampers; and EDFC, I won't even argue my views on the EDFC, you guys spend time/money setting it up, I'll take 1 minute and pop the hood and adjust the settings manually thanks. Like I said, this product is probably mostly hype, not saying that it will perform badly, but I doubt this will be anything great, for what most people do, it'll probably be enough, but why buy something better when you can have the "super drift" dampers?

Poorly damped/crappy design/marketing hype performance?

:blah: blah, blah, blah. sucky this, sucky that. bitch bitch, bitch. blah, blah, blah. :blah:
to each, their own. however i might seem like a hypocrite because i have the HEs...but i got them for 350 brand new so STFU!he's asking if theyre good or not. not on peoples predictions...the only two people that has the right to bash on them is s2kwndl and my240iguanas because obviously they have first hand experience...(that we know of, more people probably have them know)...so lets have the people who have them answer and critique...
