Question for you guys:

I just compression tested my SR20DET (It was pulled out of my old totalled 240), here were my results.

Cylinder 1 148
Cylinder 2 110
Cylinder 3 130
Cylinder 4 145

When I put oil in before doing it they all read damn close to 150. Is my engine blown? Do I need a rebuild?

Is it likely that it was like this before the accident?

Would it be dangerous (for the engine) for me to run it like this?

probably just needs new rings, you can drive on it sure.. but probably just going to do more damage

get a capfull of oil, drop oil into each cylinder...then redo your compression check.

defiantly the piston rings. if u put oil in it and it didnt change then it be your valve seals
