searched, but most threads are in for sale section. just want a quick answer to reconfirm. doing a tune up for my car and just wanted to if you guys have any preferences with wires and plugs. read somewhere else that ngk wires and plugs is the best for us KAers. getting ngks. but why are the better brands (ngk and bosch) a lot cheaper than autolite and the kragen/pepboys/autozone brands? the two brands are 50-55 while others are 75-80. after being on this board, i live by "you get what you pay for." but i know for a fact that ngk and bosch is high quality, so whats the deal? advice on plugs that dont break easily (irridium) and last long would be helpful too. just want a straight easy answer on what works well and long. thanks

cool. im going with ngk wires then. so is it even worth it to get platinum plugs? im definitly not getting irridium cuz ive heard that the tip could potentially break...

just curious, but can anyone tell me why ngk/bosch (even though they suck) are a lot cheaper than the other brands?
