black r34 had hood unlatched on freeway, hence the damage.
I also talked to him some more about the legalization process. These cars are not legal YET. He said, that whom ever is interested can pick a broker of their choice or do a secure bank transaction for an initial payment. Once they see that you are serious about buying the car of your choice, they'll start the legalization process.

taht's wicked cool. spending $2k (or less) to bring over a $1-2k car and 'legalizing' it without going thru the only Registered Importer allowed to do so, and selling it for $19k.
Wicked cool.

how much are you selling the R34 LEGALIZED ? and how will the title making take place?

If my memory serves me correctly, Motorex is still the only R.I. allowed to legalize the Nissan Skyline to drive on U.S. soil even if the car was already illegally entered into the United States.
Motorex is the ONLY R.I. that is allowed to do the modifications for any Skyline to be legal in any state.
Since these are already here I don't even think Motorex or any other R.I. can do any of the modifications since it's suppose to go through the R.I. first before it gets to you. So since your guys already have them then all you can do with them is use them for competition which isn't a bad thing cause I sure as hell would rock a Skyline as a competition only car!
^ WRONG!
I was going to say the same thing mrmephistopheles said. But I didn't want to thread crap.
I'm guessing that the R34 is not a GT-R?

Well thx for Pictures and Information. By doing things like this, and not being hush hush makes your company more legitment than 80% of the other Importers. I suggest keep on taking pics, and giving as much info as you can. It really does help.
I'd rock that R32 for a Drift Car in a Second.
I'm guessing that the R34 is not a GT-R?
Looks like a GTS to me. (front bumper, interior, engine bay (rb25det))
that car can be purchased and brought to the states for 7k easily.

I was going to say the same thing mrmephistopheles said. But I didn't want to thread crap.
How am I wrong? How did they import these Skylines? As a parts car? I called U.S. Customs a while back and they said that it was illegal to put a parts car back together and resell it to legally drive it. They told me that it was considered as fraud. The cars look like they were taken a part and put back together.
I'm not thread craping, just telling my experience and from what I've been reading over the past couple of years since I'm one of the millions that's done research on importing Skylines. Don't want anyone to make a mistake that could cost them thousands of dollars and painful misery.
If you can show me where the DOT, NHTSA, or the EPA says that anybody can import this car and send it to a R.I. when it's already here in the U.S. and have it leaglized then I'll kick myself in the face. I've called every single R.I. on the list and they all told me that they couldn't do it (that was 5 years ago). Hey I maybe wrong but I'm just telling people to watch out for these so called "Legal Skylines" because It could put someone in debt big time!
Actually I hope I am wrong because this would bring myself closer to getting a Skyline. :duh:
motorex "USED" to import skylines. But they've been digging a huge hole for the past year or so. AS OF NOW, they're out of the business of selling and importing skylines.
Legally, you should go through a R.I. But there are many tricks to "legally" register a OBDI skyline. I'll just let you research alittle more on this.

if someone paid that much for that car they deserved to held down while a horse shits in their mouth and kicks them in the face.
Just get a PO box in canada and get the R32 registered there...
thats more legal than anything anyone has suggested so far. And you could import one yourself like that for a couple grand.
