Ok..the kit I plan on purchasing comes with

JGS manifold
Tial waste gate
Some garrett turbo with exhaust .84 a/r.. I can't find the intake a/r
Waste gate dump tube

What do you think the kit is worth, and how much safely to boost on stock ka24de? I've heard 10psi is good. I'd like to see what I can do with stock KA internals, before I go with forged pistons/rods.. I'm not really looking for low 1/4mile times... just a bit more power. You think this kit would be good for me to beat the shit out of on a sunny Sunday afternoon?

300whp is probably good enough for me. My s13 coupe exterior stage is nearing it's completion, so.. it's time to start looking in other areas to mod.

umm
jgs - $200
tial - $150
turbo (my guess is thats a t4) - hard to tell depending on condition. would guess $400-500 if its fairly new.

so around $700-900 is whats that stuff worth

now, i would not run any of that without additional fuel, and honestly, imho that turbo will be way too big if you just want a little kick. I would stick with a T3 or T3/T4 at most for a general street application. but thats just me.

Appears to be a t4e housing.. with a full t4 tang(ental) housing. It's very used-looking, so the turbo is worth ~$300 to you in my opinion.. may go down if the turbine housing is larger than .84 A/R. The other prices Kreator hit on the head.
$650-750 I'd say.

Have a proper fuel system and good tuning. I don't see why stock KA can't handle 300 daily.

The turbo is faily new.. there is no shaft play that I could tell with out a mic.

I do plan to run a walbro for 255..and an SAFC.. along with the basic necesssities to run the turbo.

i ran 12psi daily on my previous KA project, had no problems with it whatsoever, just be sure you have enough fuel, a fuel pump, correct afr/timing, there are other people running 1bar of boost daily on their stock internal KAT and has no problems with it
