i found this pic the other day of an incredible '89 240. it is known as jerrys 240sx. it is silver with a c/f hood, jdm headlight conversion, advan rims, etc. just plain beautiful. much of the exterior mods he has, are said to be custom. i dont know if im alowed to post pics of other peoples cars so i wont.but here is the link. basically im just wondering where can i find the front end conversion, the cheapest i found was at sr20parts.com for 1200, i dont know if they can be had for cheaper though. also, if any one knows where i can find a similiar bumper, side skirts, and rear skirt, please let me know. thanks a lot, matt

Isn't that the Pacific-Rim Silvia....it was already a story in SuperStreet. Blah! Slush-o-matic who doesnt know about that car.
I remember that car on ebay about two years ago, if memory serves it started out at like $3500 and ended up close to $10,000. It was in Super Street not long ago and the owner of PacificRim aka iloveracing.com owns it now. That bumper was cut right down the middle and put back together to fit that S13. Contact www.wholesalehyperformance.com for the bumper, its for a 97-98 S14. Grumpy, who is a member here has it on his S13 but he modified it differently to make it fit. BTW, that is one of the baddest S13 coupes IMO, its my favorite. not too ricey cept for the stickers

WHAT?!?! you WANT an automatic? That was the NUMBER 1 reason I sold my 90 240. I hated it. The car is SO much more fun to drive in stick.
I don't like this car.
The thing I don't like about the car is that he did almost nothing to make the car truly a raging Race beast. Sure. Beautiful SR engine, beautiful body/paint. Raged out old S13 interior. ooooh a nismo Lighter. Ahhhh.. and an aluminum dash kit. dude spends shitloads on appearances. nothing to make it actually better. It is nothing more than a factory Silvia with some little Pretty stuff done to it. Personally that car is rice to me. (Not trying to throw that word around.) Dude buys the car. Pays a shop to do all the work on it. Does everything so he'll LOOK COOL as hell. Personally from reading about this car, and seeing what he did too it. He doesn't love racing. He loves lookin' like he loves racing. If he really loved racing he WOULDN'T HAVE AN AUTOMATIC.

What about the auto trannied drag cars that so sub 10sec 1/4 miles? Don't tell me these guys don't like racing just because they use a slushbox for more accurate times and boost load.... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
No, I agree with your other points about being "ricy"...I myself prefer a manual as well. Just making some interesting conversation...

The Auto tranny is better for drag racing when your running High boost, and high horsepower. I bet he's getting MAYBE low 14's with that setup of his. Only performance mods he has is exhaust, and intercooler. That adds about 30-40hp if your lucky? so probably 200-210 whp. I doubt that kind of power would benefit by using an Automatic. Besides, he has the car setup for drifting. not drag racing. If your gonna drift the Auto makes it MUCH harder to control engine speed, and traction. If he really LOVES racing so much, then he would have a set of seats in there, and a roll cage, and a harness, etc...
on a side note. i do think his car looks BADASS from the outside. The front end is Sweet. Very Clean looking car. (minus stickers)
That is what I plan for the body of my s13. But my car will be much more impressive as far as mods.

I don't see whats wrong with having a nice car. Personally I don't think it's "rice". In fact, other than the stickers all over which are mostly advertisment, which makes it reasonable to me, I think it is pretty smooth. But thats what is cool, some people like it and some don't.
Personally, I'm finding it hard to not want to copy him and if I didn't have a desire to be original, I would. hell I still might, I could care less what people think, I just want something that I like.
So here is my rant: When does it become "okay" to make your car look nice as well as fast? When you have under 11sec 1/4mile? When you've perfected drifting? When you are winning all of your auto-x events? Never?
Really it shouldn't matter, some of these cars probably look like shit after all these years and most people don't want to be driving around a POS no matter how fast it is.

Here's my rant: what's up with people sticking up for "drifting", and hating stickers???
If you enjoy things for what they are, not for everyone else doing it. (i.e. just because most 240sx owners are interested in performance, doesn't mean every 240sx owner SHOULD be.)

Yea, he sold it around the fall of 2000. The eBay bid ended up being $10,000 or so. That was way less than what he expected since his reserve was 3-4 thousand bucks more. He expected several thousand more, but the people told him, "Dude it's an automatic, plus when you put that much money into the car, you ain't gettin' most of that back." So eventually he let it go for around that price range.

I have to disagree here. Non Fujita's ride was freakin amazing. not only was it beautiful. It was a BEAST. His car is definately in my top 3-5 S-chassis cars I've seen. this car is probably in the top 20-30 just b/c of how clean it is.

Non Fujita's car was/is amazing! I want to get a hold of him because I know that he made the fender flares (or his shop did) for the car, and I absolutely love them! I wonder how much he would charge for such things...
