omg...saw my first skyline today

well i happened to stop by my friend/mechanic's shop today to see something he's been working on.....a skyline, now i have read post from others that seeing a skyline doesn't do to much for them but being that this one was my first i will never forget it. now it wasn't an r33/34 or anything special like that (it had an rb20) but it was still sexy. It was black w/gold volks(i think it was the TE's) and was clean. my friend was putting a new hybrid fmic on it(i'll be getting mine on wed/thurs) and will be going through several upgrades in the near future. Damn it was a good day!!!

I saw my 2nd and 3rd skyline at a show today, both GTS R33s, hot none the less...

but we caught them the night before the show at a local motel. They also have a 240 fastback with an S15 front and rear conversion, rear end is a little sketchy, but 556 whp, that was trailered though, skylines were driven.

definetly silvias are better.... i guess skylines are the norm... seen a few already, what was most surprising to me was seeing one in the middle of east oakland... now that was a trip...

best siting of silvia's is in hayward... at a smog shop..... every sunday.. lol

skyline??... man ive seen tons of skylines.. down here in socal... and ive seen a couple of s15's... and here in socal you always see a bunch of civics with skyline taillights and frontend conversions.. ahahhahaha... awsome how much they pay to make their car into a nissan

my first skyline sighting was in seattle. a white R32. that was like a year before i moved to california. i haven't seen one yet in california :confused:

seen 2 different r32 skylines on the east coast super street tour runnin fast in the rain another r32 at carlise carshow and a r33 at e-town drag races heard the r33 got wrecked

We have some around here. I see R32's everyday, and usually an R33, but I didn't see an R34 until a couple weeks ago. Someone just came from Okinawa with an R34 GTR. Man R34's are the sex in person. There's also a guy around with a R33 Tomi Kaira GTR. Really clean. Don't much care for R32's though. They just don't look good to me.

Been back and forthe stationed in Japan since 1992, nowadays Skylines are like civics in the states...every American owns one, there like 20 of them in the parking lot at work.....and they swear they are un touchable...

I saw my first a couple years back, came up an passed me. I thought he was a ricer with a convo at first, until he passed and I realized he was on the wrong side. Looked pretty stock, R34 GTR.

I also saw a heavily modded 32 GTR on the freeway about a year back.

for those of you in cali i'm jealous here in miami you don't get to see those kind of cars everday....get to see alot of exotics but not skylines, silvias(real ones), etc....however I'm sure that you guys out on the westside wouldn't mine being able to drive around w/no cat on your exhaust, without the fear of being incarcerated.

My friend's work imports cars and parts from Japan. They've had a few Skylines and misc RHD cars sitting around. Mostly R32s and R33s, haven't brought over any R34s yet.

They have a older 99 model WRX STI wagon with a Greddy T67 on it. It will haul ass once it is working again.

Saw a few this weekend including an S15 Vspec. I even know someone that owns an R33.

Wow over here in jersey they are pretty rare. I mean I've seen tons of skylines at shows, but I've only seen one ever on the street and it was this pimp r32, over in long island, ny. I have yet to see a real S15 in person....
