Not sure if this should go in WTB, but i just blew my SR and i was wondering if anybody knows a shop/website, where i could purchase a new SR without tranny, ecu, harness, etc, i just need a new motor, so if u know of anywhre plz post their website or phone #, and if any of you have an SR (excellent condition, rebuilt or modded would be nice) email me at [email protected], thanks in advance.

if u were u i would call Venus auto, and get a block from them, rebuild it and it will cost less. they wont charge an arm and a leg haha

Thats one option, but i doubt i'd have the time to rebuild. I need to get this car back on the road cuz im drivin a borrowed car. So, if possible, im lookin to find an engine from a reputable company or individual that i can just drop in and be confident everything will run smoothly.

every engine breaks. so does pos sohc.

Call up Venus Auto Chances are you may come up on a good motor. With them it's best to go take a look in person.

I bought my blacktop from them, no complaints...good compression...and a little bit of extras here and there they never knew about :rawk:

Drivin like an idiot, definately my fault. I think i broke a wristpin cuz it started knockin. After that i should've stopped but it ws like 3am and iwas on my way back from the club so i kept drivin...............bad idea, 'LOUD SOUND' happened and the engine locked up, next day i found the big hole in the block and the wrist pin and i think a piece of piston all over my oil pan :(
