2 of my friends just bought them, but not going in for a little while. I think Dousan bought some from Dave too.
Don't see anything wrong with them.

most of tougefactories parts seem to be good quality, and other than their own line, which also is good, they only carry respected brand names. my .02
I was looking at these as well. I would trust them.

i got them
will put them in either this weekend next or following something in the next month
i got all my goodies to max out my turbine around 270hp or so (s14 sr)
haha
:)
should be fine. came w/ flow infos and all that good stuff, it looks to be new KA ones or SR ones, just redone and reflowed and such
thast why cost is so cheap.
shouldnt be any problems

I'd bet they are drilled out 270s...Subaru guys have been doing this...drilling out the tip to create more flow.
Done carefully, then flow tested...no reason why they won't do just fine.

Same idea but cheaper.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tougefactory gets theirs from Deatschwerks. I just sold a set of my KA injectors to deatschwerks for $45 shipped because I believe he was running out of them. I plan on buying some from deatschwerks fairly soon.

Aaron, remember to put the highest flowing injector on cylinder number 4, 2nd highest on 3rd and so on. Fourth cylinder runs the leanest and it's the best way to prevent lean conditions in cylinder 4 without having an EMS with individual cylinder fuel tuning.

i knew about the highest on 4, not the rest
thanks buddy
if your bored swing by today (sunday)

what type of fuel control are u using to control those injectors? I wanted to get the bigger injectors now but i dont have a tuned ecu or standalone. I was thinking i should just wait till i get a rom tune for the bigger injectors. Are you just using a safc?

i know he's using a safc but i wanted to know if he was using anything else because for injectors the size he got, most ppl dont recommend just using the safc
Flybert
03-21-2005, 02:51 AM
SAFC is fine for 555cc's. Sure, it would be nicer to have something like a power FC but plenty of people do it. It's when you get to sizes like 740's that it isn't recomended.

im going rom tune when the upgraded turbine goes in
should be a nice solid 350 :)
should be w/in the next 3 months i think...depends how comfortable and i feel w/ this setup at the track

I got the 660s from dave. He 2nd day UPS'ed them to me. Great service. Just PM him if you haven't gotten a tracking number. He'll take care of you.
These are reflowed stock injectors. They say JECS on the side and everything.

are there any downsides to running modified injectors in terms of spray pattern or anything?
also...how badly would this effect the battery offset? the difference between the 270cc and 370cc nissan injectors is pretty small, but making the jump to nismo 740's definately changes the offsets.

The spray pattern would not be as good, the Nismo or stock injectors if you look at the bottom has 4 spray orifices, modified injectors has just 1 because they install a new plate with a single drilled orifice to get the fuel delivery rate they need. The 4 spray orifices on the Nismo/stock injectors give very good fuel atomization and dispersion vs. a single orifice. I have pictures somewhere comparing the early model Z injectors (single orifice) vs. the later model injectors (same as the SR/KA).

I wonder just how much the spray pattern is altered, and the negative side effects. So far it sounds like you get what you pay for with injectors.

is 600cc to much for a t25 set up?, if so ill wait until my t04e is on then i think they would be perfect.
turbozxi
03-25-2005, 08:12 PM
Well you could use them is not like it would hurt ya if there tuned correctly. You certainly wouldn't be getting the most out of them with a t 25 though.
