ok, as many of you know, the GReddy Type S has two vac nipples. I did some searching and i read that its for different size vac lines because they are both different sizes.... After playing with it for a while (blowing in one hole, covering another, etc), i found out this is untrue because they both go into different chambers.
The top one where i see most ppl run their vac lines goes into the chamber were teh spring is. This is where teh vac is supposed to be connected i assume. Now, the second one under it. It goes into the chamber where the air is vented...I dont understand what this is for. Does it help to hook it up if i plan to recirculate or something? please it would be great if someone that understands explain this.
i dont think there is naother topic like this on zilvia.

i appreciate your picture, and i do realize capping it off would do just fine, but im just wondering why its even there? the second nipple goes to the same chamber where the air is vented off so it isn't the same thing as the first vac nipple. does anyone konw?

i read that it's not supposed to be capped off even if it's not in use. when i took the bov apart, i put push in the chamber and the nipple on the bottom would be breathing out air. so i think it's there for a reason.
searching on zilvia also got me to a thread where someone said the bottom nipple should be hooked up to a boost source...but this sorta contradicts with what i found out (read above) right? maybe im confusing myself
Yoshi, how loud is your bov? im wondering how loud it is recirculated (waiting on enjuku hot pipe, or else id try it out myself)

personally I'm about the stealth install... not so stealth now that I did the s15 front end, but the Type-S is a great BOV IMHO. It's fairly subdued when recirculated... noticable, but only if you know what a BOV is already (ie. honda guys in awe). The other guy in my town with a swap has the save BOV but atmospheric, and it's Very noticable from a distance. I feel that the GReddy S is a the best all around BOV. If you want to turn heads, and that's your goal, go with a Blitz product, but personally, i'm a big fan of GReddy/Trust/Gracer products.
Silver: I'm not sure about the other port... I have mine setup per the instructions that came with the BOV, the endcap you see came with it, so ? Just trying to help :)
