I just got my Greddy FMIC and was wondering if i need to relocate that nasty battery from the fron to the trunk? I dont have a lot of time for this install because its cold as hell outside and i am in a school parking lot.

Also i just towed my car back to campus with another shitbox draging me because my fuel pump got a little tired. I checked the computer, the light is on, I cheked the power to the fuel pump and the yellow wire is a constant (gauge i guess) and the white and purple one comes on when i turn the key and comes off in 3 sec. so there is power. I poped the fuel line at the FPR and turned the key and nothing came out. Does this meen the fuel pump went, and how do i put in my walboro.

you dont need to relocate your battery, but you need to buy a smaller battery.

i think you can use a honda battery. group size 51
ie. 95 honda civic dx. 51-84. go to your local auto parts shop.

I would advise against just grabbing any small battery: Pick up a "racing style" battery

Why is that? If the CCA are up to par, it will be okay. I used a lawnmower battery from OSH with fine results. 30 bux!

just relocate your battery to the trunk, doesnt require you to buy another battery....

Yah civic batteries or MIATA batteries fit. Only thing is you have to jerryrig a tie down for it and dump the reservoir. But pretty much itll be snug in there

I'd advise on relocating it because it aids weight distribution (if your hardcore with weight and the such.). Its nice b/c it leaves more room in your engine bay, makes it look cleaner. Its cheap to do about 50 bucks for a whole kit with EVERYTHING needed, or DIY from kragens with longer cables screws etc. Other thing is you dont' have to worry about bumping the stereo while waiting or working on the car. If you forget your lights on it might not be as bad.

Thats my 2 cents.

If i might be able to answer your question on the fuel stuff. When you turn on the key on your car to ignition (NOT accesory) can you hear the fuel pump, it'll sound like a large humming? have someone turn the key and if its a hatchback, in the trunk area on the right side i believe. if ur in a coupe , right behind the backseats inthe passthru area. Just lean ur head close and listen. Check your fuse, one in the kickpanel and i think theres one in the fuse box. I doubt u'd be gettin power if that was the case (that the fuse was blown) but check anyways.

Well if you relocate your batter you SHOULD buy a new battery as well. But thats if you like being proper and safe and all that good stuff
