transmission for sr

hey i have a shortshifter for my s13, but i'm going to be intsalling an sr20 in less than a month, it's not gonna affect the gearbox, will it, i can still use my shortshifter right?

yes.  trannies are the same.  bellhousings are different.

from what i've read... SR trannies seem to hold up to a little more power....

then again, i never thought about the massive torque in a turbo KA compared to an SR....  the KA would need more torque to make the same amount of power than the SR, so it would make sense that an SR and a KA rated the same, the KA would do more damage being more brutal on the drivetrain....  interesting nonetheless....
