I had a local photographer Patrick Dean shoot some pix of my car yesterday to help build his portfolio. We almost got in trouble b/c of port security - apparently since 9/11, you can't take pix of the port. Unfortunately this prevented us from doing any action shots, but none the less, here's what we got

Some body specs again...I forgot wut they are.
Bodykit:
Fender:
Hood:
WHeel size.offset:
Hows the fenders? Im bout to look for wide fenders myself thats why im asking.

Bodykit: Cwest DRFT kit
Fender: Chargespeed
Hood: Chargespeed FRP
WHeel size.offset: Front 18x9 +10 offset. Rear 18x10 +11 offset.

The fenders actually fit pretty damn well! We didn't have to modify them at all, though if I had a gripe, it would be the fender/door gap is larger than stock. No one seems to notice. The rears are pulled OEM, in case anybody was wondering/confused.

Couple more Q. What suspension and size tires are you running? Im asking it more for the rear cuz it almost seems like they would rub quite a bit even tho they're rolled *well not regular driving wise, just when pushed around corners* How much negative camber are you running in the rear? Also, did you figure out yet why the corner lights are crooked??? Is it cuz of the way they are mounted or is it cuz of the fenders?
Sweeet ride..exactly how i wanted it. but instead i went jdm oem (shoulda got that kit) :bash:

I am running Tein FLEX coilovers, almost all the way down. I have Tein t/c rods and nismo power brace up front, with Cusco rear upper control arms and spl toe rods out back. Camber wise, -3 front and -2 rear. The rears have plenty of clearance, the front rubs a tiny little bit at full lock (almost not worth mentioning). We pulled the fenders quite a bit, somewhere around 25-27mm! I could run almost no camber if I wanted to. Running 235/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear AVS Sports. The suspension is set up and aligned to be functional, as I love to hit the back roads. I would also love to hit a road course when funds allow. I don't drift though.
The corner lamps don't sit quite right due to an error by the body shop which will be fixed sooner or later.

Nice car Red calipers are gay.
i think three spoke wheels are gay and are for insecure people, but hey, i don't post on some internet board talking shit about them. Oh wait, i just did.
most people like red calipers and think they are hot, you think they are gay. most people are straight, what does that say about you?

hey man, what kind of wheels do you have? they look very similar to the 57 pro.
xVaporx
03-15-2005, 03:51 PM
The wheels are Volk Racing SF Challenge. The brakes are a hybrid set up consisting of Z32 aluminum calipers, adapter brackets, and 3000GT VR4 rotors measuring 12.3inches in diameter. Rear brakes are for the moment, stock (hey, Rome wasn't built in a day!). Thanks for all the compliments guys! :)
Here's a close up pic of the wheels and brakes, if you didn't see it

I would have sex with your car. Hey I have red calipers do and trust me they are not gay. I have met some gay calipers in my time and red Z32s are as hetero as can be

Wow...i didnt like those rims before....TILL NOW. Look so clean with a closer shot. Well dont be surprised if I end up following your rim setup *size/offset wise* Its weird tho cuz Chargespeed fenders are 20mm wider than stock rite? I dont get why it would still rub. Oh wells still look clean...
ill get to that point soon enough....just need to hit the lottery or make a killing in Vegas.
PS: if you ever get a chance, post up some closer angled shots of the fenders and wheels. Wanna see how tucked those tires are and how close you got em from the fenders. :naughtyd:

it barely rubs the inner lip of the front fender. If I ran like -3.1 degrees of camber instead of -3 it would not rub at all. I should have dremmel'd the inner lip of the fender off, but it's such a minor rub I don't even worry about it. Chances are you won't be as low as me (about 2.5 inches of ground clearance), so I wouldnt worry about it.
I'll try and snap some pix of the fender clearance front and rear when the weather clears up.
just go drifting...at those speeds at full opposite lock, i'm sure your tire will dremel the fiberglass away perfectly lol

What side skirts and rear bumper do you have on your car? I love the way that looks. Also where could I purchase the set?

The kit is Cwest DRFT kit. Do a search, there are plenty of places that sell them. I got mine from somone who was going to use it, but didnt, so I got a great deal.
Hopefully in a few months I can update you with interior pix when I get some seats. It may be longer, I want to pick up some track wheels and hit up Sebring

Real nice car. I wouldn't say the calipers are gay but they do detract from the style I would paint them black but thats just me.

What fender is that? Pretty good fitment. How much work did you put in trying to get those fit properly? Gl with your car at the track. My car looked good before I started drifting on the track.
Edit: looking closer at the pic, your corner lights didn't meet ur headlight very well. Is that true?
