Just applied for one hour photo job...

I needed a crappy part-time job to keep me busy while I finish my last semester of college and start looking for a real job (mechanical engineering). So I just applied for one hour photo counter at the local pharmacy.

Has anyone here ever worked this position? pros/cons? Is it laid back or does it get pretty hectic after holidays when everyone wants to develop photos? I live in a pretty dead part of town, the suburbs, so I don't expect a bunch of crappy customers.

I have some general interest in photography, so I thought this would be a fun little screw-around job to keep me entertained and out of trouble for a couple months.

Bonus. Sounds like all positive comments so far. I'm looking forward to trying it out for a while. If I don't like it, I can always walk out and not put it on my resume. I'm sure a real employer won't care how much I screwed around at a job like that anyway.

Do they really check the pics out... id assume so. I remember when I was 17 and so was my screw.. we took some x-rated pics... they didnt have a problem with it.. thats child porn!! lawsuit

I don't know if they look at the photos. I'm sure they usually just catch glimpses of them when they get processed. I wouldn't want to see ugly peoples' titties anyway.
