Whats your take on the Ford Shelby GR-1 concept car?

600 ponies out of the box from a 7.0L(427) "Hurricane" V8 from what ive read.

Hmmm, well outside of my price range, so it looks pretty ugly to me. :D
Actually even if I could afford, I don't really like it. ::shrug::

i like the GT40 better, but its something about the GR-1 that i like, maybe its compactness...

I like the GT40, GT, and New Cobra, just don't care for this one. I think the only thing I do like is it's resemblance (at least in my mind) to a 240Z.

too "cab-backward" for my liking. Like ThatGuy said, reminds me of a 240z (I've owned one)...

I wouldn't pay money for it.. so I can't say I like it exactly.

edit: Wheels look good, though.

i see a little bit of the 240z in there, i like the rear of the car a lot more than the front, it seems like the headlights shouldnt sit back like that.

well its actually shelby daytona coupe influence rather than 240z, since the 240z was influenced by the daytona coupe which preceded it by a couple years.

But it's definitely trying to bring back that classic sports coupe long nose-short cabin look.

looks nice from the front, don't like it from the back. the brake lights are just stupid.

I like that long nose short cabin deal, to bad it doesnt leave much room for a bike in the back. I really like the front of that car but the back leaves me dissatisfied. The wheels are great though, I wonder how I could get a set...Anyone have any interior shots?
