my swap progress....

well worked on the clip today :) hopefully tommorow i might pull the motor out, put it on the stand and prep some of it. got everything i could off, harness, etc. radiator is a little bent, but checked and it doesnt leak! it will last hopefully till i get koyo.

clip is in ok condition, its fully stripped, missing top rad hose but overall nice condition thanks to Phase2. i found a lil oil residue in intercooler piping but nothing too major.

so far the problems i have to solve:
1)heater hose rerout...
2) fuel line from filter to the rail is torn... i guess im gonna have to see if ka's fits which is very probable.
3) radiator is bent on the right side, bent inwards aand to the left. but it dont leak so i guess will do!
3) no upper rad hose! ka's will prob do.
4) i will need new belts....
5) looks like i got the goddamn hicas pump.... (i might be wrong tho!) will have to make ka's work like we did on my buddies swap. :duh:

i think thats about it, ill keep posting my progress here not that anyone cares haha :ughug:

the heater hoes is a bitch u need to get reducers to make it work right. i think u will need to get 3/4 to 5/8inch reducers. correct me if i am wrong its been like over 6 months since i did my swap.

He does it for retarded cheap 70ish $ To me 70$ is not worth the hassle, but he has been doing a butt load of wiring for people from ebay. He is putting all the wiring guys out of buisness by 300%. At first I felt bad for him since when ever I see him, he's holding a soldering Iron, but I guess even though he's charghing dirt cheap, its still 40$per hour for him. Long story short, Let me, know if you dont want to do your own wiring. If you do, let me know if you need help.

hey 420sx can i get a copy of that site too? also if you think you got a clip that had hicas , look at your power steering resevoir ,the hicas one hasan extra line coming out that runs allong the crossmember to the secondary pump on the intake manifold side , i got a hicas clip . I think i might be alittle late with this tho

the car is alive, runs real rich, needs timing adjustment. had to replace water temp sensor/thermostat/wire up stock electric fan.
