Just an FYI, none of the B&M shifters that are listed on ebay come with the shift knob. I emailed all of them to see if it was included and they all replied that they don't. WTF is the deal with that? A couple of my friends have them and theirs both came with it...

Hmm....The email said B&M part #45088 does not come with it. That's the same part Enjuku uses and that's where my friends got theirs from. Well, whatever. I'll just get one and post a WTB ad for the knob. Someone has bound to have one lying around from switching it out for another...

Ryan hagen might still have his B&M knob, I know he got the short shift kit and it came with the knob and I don't the he has installed it ever. PM him (ryan hagen), or maybe he will read this.

I got the B&M copy and mine came with a knob.

How does the copy feel like? Is it as good as the real one? Im actually thinking of giving it a shot.

new version model does not come with knob anymore.

the ones that dont come with the knob are the "2nd gens." supposedly they dont rattle like the 1st gens at high rpm, but ive heard that they still occasionally rattle

i think the reason it dosent rattle is because the original knob is the thing that made noise

so, what B&M did was to take the knob off. then called it a fix. 2nd gen = 1st gen - shiftknob

I just got a real B&M for $120 slightly used without a knob but I already have a momo one. I replaced the pilot one with the B&M and it rocks! WAAAY better! It feels like a rifle bolt. You can shift the heck out of it without any worries. I also like how the B&M design has a plate and shifter all in one so the tranny is all sealed up unlike the pilot/obx and C's.

My pilot one feels really rubbery compared to the B&M. It also fell apart once but I glued it back together. It hasn't fallen apart since I fixed it but it shouldn't have fallen apart in the first place. I guess you get what you pay for.
