I've got a problem with my car not starting when it's warm (been running for a while then shut off for a few minutes then trying to start it back up again). It just clicks but won't crank. Then it cools off and starts right up. I'm assuming this is a starter problem (correct me if I'm wrong, please) and my question is this: is an S15 starter any different than an S13/S14? Is it any different than an SR20DE starter out of a Sentra? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be your starter, relays or ignition switch.
You'll have to test those to make sure each is working properly.

I hear from a person who builds and installs SRs told me that S15 SR starters are different from the S14/S13. I hear it was a very very rare item to find. good luck!

I ended up taking the starter to a shop that rebuilt it for $85. Thanks for your responses guys.
