Well 50 bucks isnt that bad for 2 sets of foglights if you think about it. Though that is still alot of money, but atleast its not 400 bucks for some supermade lights. What do you guys think???

Rather they just sucking it up and keeping your stock lights, or dishing out the cash for a quality product, you have chosen to build an illegal set-up that will have mediocre lighting output. Those are fog-lights, or at best, driving lights. They are not headlights, and should not be used at such. Great Job.

No, he's right. That's why no one else does it. You have to buy foucsed driving lights to run that set up. They cost alot more than some pep boys lights.

However, now you are putting something out there for everyone (Police Mainly) to see, that is obviously only meant for track use. Seems like a waste of funds to me, no matter how much or how lttle it cost you. It was a waste.

You never know, these may be adequate for daily driving, at least. My 40 dollar Kragen fogs were just as bright as, whiter than, and had almost the same beam pattern as, my stock low beams.

There is something you fail to realize here. While driving lights and fog lights may well be "bright".... They just kind of shit light out in front of your car, with no pattern or cutoff. They aren't particularly aimed at the road... not aimed away from other drivers.

So you will have three things from these lights:
#1 ricey color
#2 horrendous glare
#3 mildly better light output to the road

And with that trifecta of bad lighting, you will get other drivers pissed at you, cops to pay attention to you, and be out more money than if you had just got a decent H4 conversion and some regular bulbs.



It's nice to see someone trying something different, and its good to see you have a positive attitude, but heed the warnings of others who had tried this.
