Anybody have a specific track they like? one you know real well, use it as a benchmark for new mods and lap time attacks?

For me, it's Toyko R246. I know all my braking points, gears, etc... one place I can always count on!

GT4 tracks has nothing to do with 240sx

and before you even say "how about the other GT4 thread in chat, why is it even here then"

ill respond by saying its on topic because its a thread about our cars in GT4

I apologize for making the "chat" forums so unorganized with my thread about GT4. I thought it was okay because of the other GT4 threads in here.
Philip, what you said was 1) rude and thoughtless, and 2) helps this thread in absolutely no way. I feel sorry for you if you got all 2,473 of your posts by cutting people down and trying to flex your mod-wannabe muscles. Grow up man, it was a totally harmless thread that you simply could have ignored. Keep other people in mind next time awful thoughts pop into your head.

its not about making the chat forums unorganized, its about following forum rules

also there is only 1 GT4 thread in the chat, not threadS

are you trying to imply that GT is not worthy of the attention it gets?

i like nurburgring sometimes if I want to really go fast and touch up my braking points.

If I just bought a new car and want to tune it right away, Ill usually go to some moderate technical track for handling.

If I want to mess around with drifting (learning), ill do Tsakuba

Citta di Aria, great for tuning cars suspension and brakes. There is little room for fucking up so, if I can get a car around the track fast w/out hitting anything then it's ready to race anywhere else, lol.

gotta love nurburgring for speed/turns/drifting/taking pics. tsukuba and driving park for low speed drifts. almost all the original circuits for mid to high speed drifting. good stuff.

I am saying that it is worthy of the attention it gets, when that atttention is spent on actually PLAYING the game, I do do own the game and do play it quite a bit, but a new thread every day about it getting to be a bit much

Phlip, dog, you have waaaaaay too much time on your hands for your own good =)
Yeah, I have little bit of time on my hands from time to time... The comparatively minimal effort, however, helps to drive my point home

i whole heartedly admire your comittment to the education of the masses through constant scrutiny and ridicule.

fuggin, rock. of course it was rude but its been my experience that almost nothing phlip says is thoughtless. to even imply such a thing is insulting.

Grand Valley has been one of my favorites since GT1. GT4 has only made it better, with slight tweaks to make it a bit more challenging, and the scenery is awesome now.

Trial Mountain and Deep Forest are also favorites, and have been for a long time.

Costa Di Amafi is a lot like the canyons I ran in the past, and therefore it deserves mention. Of course, I also like it because it gets you a realy easy 270,000cr.

But, top of the list, the legendary Nurburgring Nordischlife. Every kind of corner imaginable, set through some of the best looking scenery in racing history. And just driving on it gives you a feeling of being in racing history.
