ok when i shut off the car the egi relay buzzes like crazy, so i put a new one in and it still does it? anyone know why?

Somewhat ghetto-rigging, but it works. Roll up about a foot of strong quality duct tape and make a cushion, stick it between the EGI harness and the part that touches the firewall.

i have this problem to. what does the tape have to do with anything? maybe a short causing it?

Could be a bad ECU or a short in one of the ground wires leading to the EFI/EGI relay. My buddy keeps telling me about this particular problem he runs across while working on other people's 240's and as usual I keep forgetting what he tells me!!.... :duh: :duh: ...D'OH!!!..

blown rely, i had the same thing, just have to swap a new one in
