my JDM Kouki front bumper is sagging pretty bad because i dont have the bumper support on there (bodyshop just removed it)

there is about 3/4" gap between my bumper and headlights / grill. In all of the photos ive seen of others cars there is no gap.

so what bumper support do i need on a 96 with a JDM Kouki conversion?

i know the foam pad probably wont fit, but i need something there to hold my bumper in place and to provide some crash worthiness.

Bumper support should still be on. So should the foam piece.
On the zenki's (I believe) you just need to take a grinder to the lower portion of the support (metal) to clear the blinkers. If this info is wrong just pick up the kouki support from a 97, the 98 is slightly diferent but that one only requires the same cutting as above.
The foam support just needs trimming. I think I hacked off about a 1.5-2" strip off the front of it and bumper fit perfect.
That's pretty shitty the bodyshop just took it all off.

I chopped up my metal bumper so i can run a JDM bumper and my FMIC. Basically i only got the bars thats attached to the chassis left. Cut the sides for the bumper cover and cut the center to fit my fmic. Left enough metal bumper to support the thin "bumper support" so no sag. Mind you, my bumper is attached to the car via 5 zipties.
