Selling for a friend: 154k miles, base model (no pw, pl, mirrors, cruise, sunroof), 5 speed, new white pearl paint and new factory spoiler. Clean interior, no holes except for usual driver's side bolster. All stock, no mods. Nissan battery (!). Runs well - I completed a 650 mile trip from NJ to NC @ 70 mph @2900 rpm and 29 mpg. Working A/C - switch light is on, compressor comes on, but should get a recharge. No shimmy, no vibrations in steering wheel, no braking issues, no leaks. Parts installed recently: oem fuel pump, valve cover gasket, waterpump, belts.

Ok, here are the flaws: minor dent on driver's door and fender. smaller dent on lower passenger's door. Clutch is not slipping when engaged, but you should be gentle when clutch is released. New Exidy clutch kit has been ordered. Engine starts well when warm, but leave it overnight and it has hard time starting (leaky fuel injectors probably). I'm planning to install a new s14 fuel rail/injectors/fpr tomorrow to fix that. Have t/c rods and tie rod ends to install later this week. Engine belts should be tightened up. There is a rattle behind the dash; don't know what it is yet. Factory radio not wired up.

Otherwise the car is tight, no squeeks, no accidents, clean carfax, VIN JN1MS36P3NW101526, spent 97% of its life in North Carolina. Full jack set and factory wheel chucks. Firm $2300 with t/c rods, tie rod ends, wheel bearing (you install). Pictures tomorrow. Trades for S13 SE hatch considered. I don't check the forum frequently so email me at [email protected]

Good news
I spent 6 hours today installing a new S14 KA24DE fuel rail with newer injectors and fuel pressure regulator, and Z32 oversized fuel filter. Man, what a difference! She revs like a new motor, and the clutch problem is gone!

I thought I needed a clutch because when I did the jerk test (drive like a newbie on a stick shift), the car did not jerk back and forth. The motion was smooth, I thought the clutch might have been slipping when I stomped and released the gas repeatedly. But now with the injectors (with more accurate fuel delivery), it accellerates and deaccellerates like a solid clutch would. No slipping!

I also fixed the rattle in the dash board. One of the brackets in the engine compartment was missing its mounting screw causing it to rattle against the firewall.

Bad News
When I took off one of the hubcaps, I noticed one of the lugs was stripped. Not a big deal because I have extra hubs from my 5 lug conversion. I'll throw in the front hub with a good wheel bearing and lugs.
Clutch has no problems, so I'm going to return my clutch kit (not incl w/car)
Someone just bought my 7 spoke alloys, so sorry the car will come with stock steelies.

Updated list of flaws
3 dents (as above)
Tighten up the fan belts (sometimes squeeky)
Needs new wiper blade ($7 Walmart)
Needs hatch support rods ($40/pair Autozone)
Front wheel bearing (front left)
Tension control rods and tie rod ends.
Factory radio not hooked up (good reason to get that DVD/MP3/Navigation system)
Exhaust pipes OK, but muffler looks sad (but who drives with a stock muffler?)

The more I work on the car, the better she drives, the more I feel like keeping her. Ugh!
