let me get this straight, you want a KA AND someone to install it PLUS cash for your old computer that's worth maybe $200 and is of unknown speed?
Please tell me this is either a joke, or just badly worded...

I can put together a computer within an hour. But I can't swap in a KA in under an hour. I think someone need to beat some sense into you.

One person is enough....Stop making assumptions, maybe he wants to trade his computer and cash for a KA24 and install.

ok for all of u that said someone should beat some sense into me line up im taking all offers ...
now that all the kindergarten shit is out of the way.....what is wrong with this offer i dont know about how fast it is and stuff but its not a very old pc
its upgraded profesionally.....
now here is my question....as far as the numbers go on the memory and stuff for some reason when i went into the properties option (keep in mind in no pc doctor or anything) the numbers it gave me seemed a lil odd an on the lil thing where it said pc owner or whatnot i had a lil message that said "not u anymore" is this some sort of hack or what..........

Sounds like a good deal (for 1997).
I consider my P4 1.5GHz with 768MB Ram and ~200GB of HD space (not to mention DVD/DVDR drives, etc) to be nearly worthless in terms of fast computing. I'd maybe put a $300 price tag on it.
You're asking for a working KA (avg price $100-500), install (at least $400 at a mechanic), AND some cash?
I think you can understand where our confusion and shock stems from.
Consider that P3s top out at ~1Ghz or so. That's a crawl by today's standards. I could go to dell.com, spend $450 and have a brand new rig that's 10x better than yours. I'd say that, on the high end, your rig is worth $100.
You could *maybe* get someone to trade a KA for that.

I really do not understand how this is a good deal for someone who can not build a computer... Someone can go sell their KA for $400-500 and buy a computer that is 4X faster and better than yours and he does not have to know anything about computers besides walk into a store. As far as computers go, if it's older than 2 years its probably worthless. :wtf:

Not to nitpick or anything, but 95-96 was more like 2000. ;)
