I have Buddy Club's

16x7.5 +22 fronts
16x8.5 +37 rears

Tire sizes right now:

225/45/16 fronts (almost brand new tread)
245/45/16 rears (dead)

I've noticed that the fronts look signifcantly "smaller" as far as sidewall goes on the front. Since I need new rears, suggestion?

Option A) Take 225/45 and put them on the rear 8.5" and get 225/50 on the front?

Option B) Suggestions?

Also - Yoko ES100's or Dunlop FM901s?

i dont understand what the problem is to be honest

i say get 245/40/16 to put on the back but that is a really short sidewall, would work for 17s

and those look an aweful lot like Kosei K1

You can't tell much in the picture, but in real life it looks a lot smaller up front. And I don't want to ride on 40's and that would severly limit my choice of tires if they even have that size :/

BTW Buddy clubs and Kosei's are basically the same wheel. In fact I heard that some Kosei's could be seen branded w/ buddy club on the inside?? Someone correct me?

The car looks fine too me, but if you think it looks off, perhaps try running a 235/45 in the rear.

As for es100s or fm901s, they're pretty close in price range, but the es100s have a reinforced sidewall and iirc, they're a tad bit harder. I havent tried the fm901s on my car yet, so i cant say how they perform, but they seem to be pretty popular. On the other hand, i have es100s on my car right now, and i love them.

Option A would give you larger tires on the front then on the rear...and why the f would you want that?
225/50 and 245/45 are corresponding sizes
225/45 and 245/40 are corresponding sizes
I would also take the Yokohamas personally
