Finally got em today, no more noisy ass riding. Although they didn't give a full coilover replacement, just the shocks.

I had to pay $50 + shipping my defective shocks back on a recall, kinda weak. Also I was expecting full new coilovers, not just a shock replacement. Oh well, at least I don't have to deal with the noise anymore. I don't have much experience with the actual coilovers itself, just dampener adjustment. How easy is it to just replace the shock?
damn, i thought you were getting a full coilover replacement too
that kinda sucks...

less than 20 for me to do ups ground, fedex even cheaper, but i can't find one that's close to me. also i think the reason we are only getting the struts is that only the struts are defective. not the springs, springs seats, pillowball mounts and etc....

Why would you expect them to replace all the little pieces. Thats crazy. You want them to just throw money away.

you don't have a 25-30 day grace period for purchases?

alrite.. the replacement struts are in... the noise is........ GONE.... nice.... :D the ride quality somehow feels a little different... it feels a little better than when i first got it... not as bouncy... still stiff ... using the same setting and ride height from before... installation takes about 7 hrs ... from dissassemble to reassemble to reinstall... everything went out so smooth...

7 HRS?! Why does it take so long??

because i 'm my only helper... i have to wipe off all those dirts n crap b4 i reassemble them. and my stupid jack doesn't rise the car high enought to give me enought cleareance to torque the bolts back to spec. getting them off is much more easier to putting it back on. it is the minor stuff that takes up most of the time. let's say if everything is assemble and just take bolts off n putting back on, it wont take more more than 2.5 hrs to finish.

how about taking apart the coilover and replacing the struts? How long did that take?

well if lets say that the struts are off n they are clean no need to wipe off any dirts and stuff.. to assemble all 4 probably about an hour ~ 1.5 hours. depends how fast you do it.
