OK here is a odd one.
I have a 97 S14 and a buddy I know has a 96 S14 aswell in South Africa, living in the US and building many high HP Mitsu motors I thought you might get a kick out of some of the SA spec nissan's which from the slim bit i know about Silvia's they seem to be pretty unique.
SR20DET's obviously (VVT missing on both- yet it is the sloped V/C with extention for the VVT)
LSD Rear with oil cooler (JA stock as i understand?)
Rear fog's on either side of the licence plate stock
Hight adjustable head lights
RHD obviously
Now here is the part i found funny, when i helped him put his 3" turbo back on i realised BOTH of our cars have no O2's from the factory, no EGR and as messed up as it seems no tank EVAP because both our cars have presure in the tank when we fill after driving. (no check lights)
My car was engine hacked before i got it, but considering i paid $700 for it and it looks like its brand new inside and out im not complaining, seems to be running rich as hell, i set the timing right and blocked the little 2mm bypass hole in the stock BOV as they took the return pipe off that runs back to after the MAS, it seems to run better but still hell of a rich, nice flames out the tail and stalling every now and then at the stop lights, I got from the dealer the stock plugs (NGK BKR6es) which seems a little hot for a turbo but thats what the DET service manual called for, one thing i saw that i dont remember seeing on US models is that my injectors are purple, what color are the stock JA imported S14's injectors?
Ohh and one other thing from looking on ebay looks unique aswell, our speedo's are marked to 260kph (S13's here are also to 260kph)
To end it, can anyone tell be the color of stock S14 SR20DET injectors and where can i find RHD things like gauge pannel's/carbon interiour pits, and where i can find SR20DET only info (the FSM wont work for me off the tech side) and what is the controler located neer the jack on the left side of the trunk?
