courtesyparts.com sells the bushings.

its cheaper to buy spl tension rods than those nismo ones, and you get adjustability and pillowball joins with the spl ones.

I agree i have the s14 nismo bushings and it cost me 70 bucks to get them and 20 to press them out and in. Now im about to buy a tein tension rods i dont know why i just need something different. The bushings are nice though they are stiff when you need them to be and soft when you are crusing around not that soft but soft enough.

So get tension rods not bushings for this one.

the SPL doesnt not has any absrob material...dose it causes unconformtable ride or maybe easier to get subframe damage when you hit a pothole?

thanks for inputs

bah get over it. deal with the harsh ride, your better handling will be worth it. if your looking for a plush, extremely comfortable ride, I hear the new Cadillac's are real nice..... :keke:

uh i dont think the control arms and rods have anything to do with the stiffness of the ride, the coilovers mainly do that. at least thats what ctune told me

actually the tension rods do have to to do wiht ride some what. i have a nismo power brace and schecci(sp) tension rods and it made it were you can deff feel the road more, but its a good thing.

So you feel the road more through the wheel, or through the bottom of the seat? I am trying to decide between getting stock tension rods or aftermarket (without the thick bushings). Does the Schecci have any bushings or is it all metal?

Heim joints are annoying on harsh rods, thay are also a lot louder. People always say pussy for those not willing to run full blown rods... when if it's just your DD there's no point as it is very harsh and unnecesary. I'm taking mine off and going back to stock rods w/ Nismo bushings for my DD.
I can just swap the pillow ones on for track when needed.

there hemi joints they dont bother me a bit. i feel it in the seat although cant really compare them to stock b/c mine were so bad jello prolly would have been better. But far as harshness they dont bother me guess its just personal preferance and i DD my car

Sounds like I'll go with the Nismo bushings for the t/c rod... NYC roads are the worst.. there's a patch of smooth asphalt every so often like there are islands in the ocean.

I used to drive a new '99 Maxima that had boat-like handling... hated Nissans until I got into a 240sx that was 7 years and 100k miles older! Thanks for the feedback!

Only time I notice it is over washboards. I've had more NHV from crappy tires than the spheicals.
