My frame is pretty messed up and it will cost close to $3000 cdn to fix.
I found a 91 hicas shell with no motor and i plan to swap my sohc in there.
What all do i need to do this and i do realise the hicas has 4ws.
I also realise this isnt the easiest way to go about doing this but where i come from 240's are a rare find.

There is also a 95 5spd sitting at the salvage. is it easier to grab that motor+tranny and sway that in?
Please keep in mind i have never swapped a motor before so please speak in idiot terms.

Depends on the harness. Either one won't be bad. What's in the shell as far as wiring/parts?

Well its my friends 240, he brought it to Mercedes benz and they swapped the motor out. They also stole the vlsd and the skirts.
Wiring i have no idea on, i have to ask him about the harness.
What would i have to move around/swap out with the sohc? And what parts can i still use from the dohc for the sohc and what parts will i need from the sohc to the dohc.
