Hi, do you guys think those ebay batteries are just as good and wont harm my cell phone? I have a nextel i830, and i was just wondering if any of you had bought any from ebay and have had good experiences with them?

personally i dont trust ebay when it comes to electronics, but thats just me. this includes, dvdr, batteries, dvds, vhs, cell phones, wires, plugs, etc etc

with that said, I would bite the bullit and buy it from a dealer

ic, i know what u mean about ebay , My phone recently stopped wanting to charge and we took it to nextel and they said some bs about its fried or something (new phone for 150+ and you have to renew contract, wtf is that). It still turns on but shuts off right away because of low battery.

hated nextel's phones because of that charging problem.
had a i90 and they said it's burnt too......charged me like 150 for repairs.

other hand.
i buy electronic stuff quite a bit on ebay. although i wouldn't recommend some electronics.
my brother bought a receiver and the sound processor was burnt...ebay seller decided to split half the repair cost of the sound processor

The Battery's are always crap. The charging cords and data cables are fine.

I read a article a while ago that says there are about more than 100 case that cell phone explored or made sudden fire because of the aftermarket batteries.

I bought a cell battery off of ebay for my phone (sanyo-Sprint) and it works great...dont know what to tell you about the Nextel phone, though.
