Defective D2 coilovers

i have a question about these that's slightly different from the usual...

are these defective units dangerous to drive on? Saying that i had some and i didnt wanna go through the trouble of getting the new ones, what would the drawbacks be besides the noise? are they gonna like, blow up on me at any moment?

if you're spending that much on coilovers, they should technically be brand spanking new.

Yea I'm wondering too b/c it's spring and the noises are going to be going away. Is there any drawbacks to the defective D2s besides the noise?

cuz if not...i wouldnt mind rolling on a set of defective ones...my car is only for track and playing on the weekends
