Drift Battle Issue 4:

Drift Battle Issue 4 is packed full of tech info and top notch drifting pics (all full color pages like every Drift Battle). In this issue you get to check out the coverage of Formula D in San Francisco, the Australian Drift Nationals at Oran Park, and D1 Round 5 at Odaiba. You’ll also get an up close look at Pontiacs GTO Drift Weapon and one fat (meaning widebodied) A31 Cefrio.
This is followed by a section highlighting the little understood but greatly loved Laurel. However, the BIG reason to buy this mag is the section with the ORIGINAL AE86 brochures highlighting the AE86 Levin in all the different trim levels and options, from the GT to the APEX model.

Drift Battle Issue 5:

Drift Battle Issue 5 is another issue all about the drift. See the Battle Mag Event at Nakayama, the HPI Drift Nats at Queensland Raceway, and D1 round 6 at Ebisu. This is another must have issue for the 86 fans as it has a full editorial on Hachi-Roku Heroes Hibino & Satoh.

Well a number of reasons. There are less ads in this magazine for starters, its full color from front to back and its in English. Yea Drift Tengoku and other mags are good, but if you can't read Japanese you're only buying it for the pictures.
Also, this is a very technical mag. For instance Issue 1 had a write up on how to install a wide body kit on an S13 and the most recent issue shows you how to align your suspension at the track with simple tools.

I beg to differ. It's as technical as SuperStreet or any other mag from the US. The cost is that it's coming from Australia. In all realty it is cheaper than most AU mags. 'Fast Fours' is $7.95 and HPI is $8.95.

The Drifting bandwagon is hitting AU the same as it's hitting here. They're just drifting on Dubs.

Yea drifting is also growing in Australia but drifting has been a popular motorsport for longer than here in the US. So I would not agree that it is hitting Australia the same way it is hitting here. They have had larger scale organized drift events for much longer than the US has. And they have much easier access to JDM cars and parts which meant that it was easier to get into drifting in the past although the US has caught up quite a bit.
How do I know this? I grew up there.
