i was looking thru the Tanabe web site, and i was looking at their Drift spec transmission bushing kit, what is it, and what does it do? it says that it is suppose to make it less stressful on the tranny when drifting, but how does it do that, does anyone know the answer to these Q's

It's an insert for the OE mount.

It's a solid shifter bushing kit and transmission brace. It has a spacer that inserts on top of the transmission that prevents it from shaking and twisting. I'm sure you've seen plenty of 240's with shifters flying all over the place (think adult electric toys gone crazy)
it'll fix that.
It also has a solid shifter bushing which replaces the crappy factory one

Get the Nismo one. Has the factory exhaust hanger mount.

Tanabe fits into the OE mount, maintaining the exhaust hanger. And it's stiffer. Way stiffer. I thought that was clear already.
