Yes, another GT4 topic.

Ok guys here's my new GT4 wheel stand. I made it outta MDF(medium density fiberboard), and it only cost me $14 total! It doesn't look the best (kinda ghetto), but it's functionally perfect. What do you guys think?

That's an awesome idea. My coffee table is too low, and my couch is too unsupportive. I need to make one too.

My other idea was to possibly put a 24" TV behind the wheel on that thing. That way it'll be like a arcarde race machine.

BTW, you can use my desing as a template if you want. Trust me it works perfect.

Looks like I'm going to be making a trip to Home Depot Racing soon....

I like the TV behind that idea, makes it seem like you're in the car.

Coming soon! I'm gonna attach one to the side. I'm also gonna paint the thing and use a stensile to do a GT4 logo on the side. And then put some MaD JdM TyTe decals on it. :drama:

how does the wheel actually feel in a race? Im just using hte regular ps2 controller and its not bad at all. Ive tried past steering wheels and they always sucked the nuts, how does this one feel? I just can't justify spending 150bucks on it unless its perfect.

I have a PCI HDTV card, which I use to play GT4 on.. And I use the computer table as my holster for my steerin wheel. :)

Need a sanity check. In GT3 you could calibrate(meaning left to right, brake pedal pressure and accelerator pedal pressure) the steering wheel. I cant find it in GT4. When I turn the steering wheel it feels like I can do a complete 360 with it.

Yeah I was looking in the paper today and saw that I was like that is pretty tight. Just sucks it doesn't include the wheel and pedals in the price. Oh well it still kicks ass.

it feels awesome... kinda like driving a car without power steering, that's the cool part... it's a real race car feel. you can actually feel the wheel pull in different directions when you're being hit, or if you hit something, when you step on it, or whatever, it responds to everything as if you're holding the wheel driving a real car.

i have the pedals a few inches off center, i need leg room, hahaha.. oh HEY! don't forget your "fake" clutch pedal, hahaha. if anybody make one, i'd like to see it! by far, this is probably the most fun i've had with my ps2.

lol, I was thinking the same thing. The seat needs to be elevated
